ABOUT ABOUT
Last August the Havre de Grace Seafood Festival made history when it expanded to 3 days and brought the Charlie Daniels Band to Havre de Grace. Many people that saw the show wondered how the Festival organizers could top that event.

Tonight I have the pleasure of announcing the entertainment for the 2012 Havre de Grace Seafood Festival.

Long regarded as one of rock's legendary voices, Brian Howe started his career in 1983 as lead vocalist for Ted Nugent, recording Nugent's "Penetrator" album and fronting it's subsequent world tour.

In 1984, the 2 existing members of Bad Company - drummer Simon Kirke, and guitarist Mick Ralphs courted Brian to replace Paul Rodgers as the lead singer. Brian decided to accept the offer and continue the legend of Bad Company. This was not an easy task, but along with Kirke and Ralphs, Brian created, wrote, recorded and toured FOR THE NEXT 10 YEARS, headlining every major venue around the globe.

Along with Bad Company's highly acclaimed 1993 live CD "What You Hear Is What You Get - The Best of Bad Company - Live" Brian wrote and sold 19 million additional albums highlighted by such radio and video hits as "Holy Water'" "If You Needed Somebody," "No Smoke Without A Fire," and "How About That," - not to mention a few of the group's previous hits as recorded on the "live" CD.

Millions of records later, Brian is back and ready to unleash his awesome vocals upon his audiences and fans performing all of Bad Company's hit songs including such classics as "Can't Get Enough," "Bad Company," "Holy Water," "Ready For Love," and many other Bad Co. hits.

His sellout performances in venues around the world is an event you must see and hear - because "What You Hear Is What You Get - The Best Of Bad Company – Live!"

That alone would be a great show. But there is more. Bad Company and Brian Howe are just the warm up! There will be 2 Headline acts in one great show.

Led by guitarist and chief songwriter Toy Caldwell, this group's classic six-man lineup scored a string of hits including "Take the Highway," "Fire on the Mountain," "Heard It in a Love Song," "Searchin' for a Rainbow," "This Ol' Cowboy," and "Can't You See." 2 weeks ago, southern rock’s legendary multi-platinum selling band made its official debut on the stage of the historic Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. Held at the Opry’s most famous former home, the Ryman Auditorium, a standing room only crowd was on hand for the Saturday night show.

"Not everyone gets asked to play at such a legendary venue and we are honored to have performed,” notes lead singer Doug Gray. Upon arriving at the Ryman for sound check, the guys were greeted with a large bouquet of flowers from longtime friend and Grand Ole Opry member and Havre de Grace friend, Charlie Daniels, congratulating them on their first ever Opry performance in 40 years.

Now, on August 10, 2012 the City of Havre de Grace will welcome the Marshall Tucker Band to the 32nd Annual Havre de Grace Seafood Festival.
